The following points are involved in the safe use of electrodynamic shaker:
a) Derated use:
Use the maximum thrust of the vibration shaker with caution. The maximum thrust of the electrodynamic shaker requires the maximum current output from the power amplifier, which results in the highest heating of the moving coil. Vibrating at the maximum thrust for a long time can easily overheat the moving coil. Derating the thrust by 80% is the optimal thrust.
b) Cooling effect:
Since the moving coil and excitation coil of the electrodynamic shaker are both electric heating bodies, ventilation and cooling are very important. For air-cooled medium and small thrust electrodynamic shaker, it is required to maintain normal operation of cooling and ventilation, and the inlet air temperature must be lower than 30℃. For high-power water-cooled electrodynamic shaker, you should always pay attention to whether there are leaks in the internal cooling water circulation system of the shaker to ensure that the vibration machine is fully cooled.
c) Operating environment:
The operating environment of the laboratory should meet the requirements of the test specification, especially dust, space magnetic field, ambient temperature, ground wire, etc. to meet the use requirements of the electrodynamic shaker.
